If you have been asking "How Can I Make Money Online..."
- find a product or offer you would like to promote.
- create articles promoting that product or offer.
- get traffic to those articles.
Laid out like that it really looks simple doesn't it? You can even do it with or without your own website. Just 3 steps to make money online!
The better ebooks, courses and seminars add two extra steps to take advantage of an old marketing adage called the 'Rule of 7'. So, if you've been looking for the answer to "How to make money online?" then here is the formula to follow:
- find a product to sell.
- set up a website targeted for people who want to buy that product.
- entice visitors to submit email address for newsletter.
- use an email autoresponder to send series of newsletters promoting the paid product.
- set up a traffic campaign to get visitors to your website who want to buy that product.
Those 5 basic steps give you a powerful (yet still simple) formula to make money online.
At the basic level, it really is that simple. That's why online marketing appeals so much to the 'Get Rich Quick' seeker. The problem is that 'simple' does not necessarily mean 'easy'. Where it gets more complicated is in making sure each of those steps are done effectively.
This is where the 'Get Rich Quick' seekers jump off the bandwagon and start yelling SCAM. As I said above, 'simple' isn't the same thing as 'easy'. While the 'Get Rich Quick' books do overhype how easy it is to get results, it's still a fact that this is a proven system.
If you really want to learn how to make money online, you need to ignore the hype. There is no way that anyone can guarantee that you can make XX amount of money in XX amount of time. There are too many variables that have to be taken into consideration. Everything from how good you are at niche research all the way through how good you are at understanding the material and following instructions.
The most important things you have to ask yourself are "What are your actual expectations?", and "How well do you understand what your actually doing for each step?".
Your expectations will determine how long you'll follow through with the plan. If you expect to make $10,000 in two weeks, and after 3 weeks you still haven't made a sale then you'll probably give up and call it a scam, (That's usually caused by sales pages making unrealistic promises). Even more importantly is how well you understand what needs to be done for each step. Even if it is possible to make $10,000 in two weeks, it isn't likely to happen unless you do everything exactly right.
Your expectation shouldn't be to make $10,000 in two weeks. Instead, your goal should be to learn exactly how to do each step necessary for a successful marketing campaign.
So, if you've been searching google, forums, blogs, ebooks, etc. for the answer to "How to make money online?", or even worse looking for "How to Get Rich Quick?", then you're asking the wrong questions. You've probably already found that answer over and over again, but keep ignoring it because that 3 step or 5 step formula I outlined above isn't complete enough for you to understand how to make it work.
Instead you should be asking questions about how to do each of those steps; "How do I find a good product to sell?", "How do I find the best niche to market in?", "How do I set up a website that effectively promotes a product?" "How do I write articles that will lead a prospect to buy?", "How do I entice visitors to submit their emails?", "How do I get visitors to my website that are looking to buy?"
"How do I make money online?" is the wrong question. You just have to learn to ask the right questions. Finding answers to all those more specific questions are how you'll learn to make money online.
My goal here is to teach you the answers to the questions you may ask, and help you start earning online.

Paid the Fastest?
"Paidthefastest" is a survey site. But WAIT A MINUTE! Aren't survey sites very tedious and offer little reward? Traditionally, yes they are. However, "Paidthefastest" tells you exactly what you need to do. So instead of filling in your information and then following with a 20-40 minute survey, they will tell you something such as "Offer will be credited after finishing the second page." This way you don't have to waste all of your time on it, just what is necessary. The offers are all free, takes mere minutes to finish, and provide anywhere from $0.05-$1.00, depending on how much they take to do. This might not seem like much, but if an offer takes 5 minutes to do, and you get $0.50 from it, that would be around $6 an hour. Doing offers that provide more, obviously, would get you more. $6 an hour for doing small surveys is a pretty good deal. But that is not even all you can earn.
"Paidthefastest" Also has a "Points" system. This Points system allows you to spend these points on multiple different items within "Paidthefastest". You can use them on games, which could potentially earn you even more if you are good at them. Just a FEW of the games they have are:
- BlackJack- Traditional BlackJack, where you gamble some of your points and hope to come out on top. The profit you can make with this is large, but the loss from it can be just as much.
- Spin The Wheel- You can use your points to buy "Spins" for "Paidthefastest's" Spin The Wheel game. You can only use 5 spins a day, but can win anything from an $0.01 to $5 on the wheel. This can add up.
- Daily Pick 3- Here, you pick 3 numbers. That is it. If you guess the right number, you win however much is offered that day. Which is a minimum of $10. Each day the prize goes without being won, adds another $10 to the pot. I once won $40 off of this, at the same time as another person. So I unfortunately only got $20 of it. But getting $20 for guessing three numbers is worth it! Note: This does NOT require ANY points or cash spent on it.
- Monthly Jackpot- The more people enter, the more you can win. Just by finishing offers you get "tickets" which enter you into the monthly jackpot. This normally gets up over $1000 dollars. That is a large amount of money to win, and you enter without even realizing it.

Make Money Using My Home Computer
Make money using your computer fulltime while staying at home or for part-time earnings to supplement another career or vocation. The question, "How to make money using my home computer?" is on many people's minds today who want a little piece of the financial pie from the ecommerce smorgasbord. A growing number of people are quitting their day jobs to stay home and provide for their families. Moms, dads, kids, college students or just about anyone can find a way to earn added income through computer technologies. Some of the currently popular ways to earn a few bucks with a computer is through online selling, affiliate marketing and the marketing of personal skills. These are just a few of the hundreds of ways available to anyone who needs or wants to bring in some cash through Internet technologies. The concept of online selling is growing with new ideas and opportunities showing up everyday on the Internet. Businesses that sell their own products or services to web sites that offer affiliates alongside their own products is a popular way to go for those who want to make money using your computer. This type of enterprise usually requires building an appropriate web site that includes information, a shopping cart with a payment gateway, a good customer services department and online marketing strategies in place. Small to large companies can be involved in online selling and are only limited by personal vision and budget.
A prospective business owner may have a marketable product or service that is derived from a hobby, craft, previous job experience or an information-driven product. The sky is the limit in this arena and there is no limit to those who have a great idea and a few bucks to get the concept off the ground. For those who want to know how to make money using my home computer, it may be wise to just look around at personal abilities and a few of those dormant ideas that have been rattling around in the brain for a few years. Some of the best ways to make money using your computer come from concepts based on an area of expertise or interest. For example, ladies who make certain craft ideas that are unusual and appealing to brick and mortar customers may find that there is an even greater consumer base to tap into online. The world is literally the marketplace and people worldwide can be invited into the consumer base of a well marketed, small company.
Selling products can be accomplished through a business website that is fully stocked, or can be auctioned off at large auction sites such as ebay or can be sold through email campaigns. The possibility of selling just about anything online is hindered only by a person's imagination. Another one of the hottest ways to make money using your computer is through affiliate programs. In order to be really successful, this concept generally requires a website that provides interesting information or services to consumers. Those who visit the site will find an array of text links, banners or buttons that will also direct them to affiliate websites that compliment the topic of the website. When a consumer purchases a product from one of the affiliate sites, the host web site will receive a certain commission from each sale. This type of income is called residual or passive income because commissions can be credited to a business owner's account even when they sleep.
Once the site is built and properly marketed, a good affiliate marketing site may only need daily or weekly tweaks in order to run smoothly without constant input. Many experts do caution, however, that making a passive income through affiliate marketing is not as easy as most programs project it to be. It does take hard work, smart marketing, analysis and adjustments along the way to increase sales, build a stable clientele and remain high on a search engine's ranking. For those asking how to make money using my home computer, the answer is partly through trial and error, hard work and lots of research. "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path." (Psalm 119:105) Affiliate marketing is a broad topic that includes website design, advertising, choosing the best affiliate programs, and maintaining a business through the ups and downs of ecommerce difficulties.
Marketing personal skills is a highly effective way to earn a living fulltime or add part-time income to any family's paycheck. Offering skills that are based in Internet technologies, writing, editing, word processing or creative design in a field are very popular today. These fields offer ways to make money using your computer and avoid spending time or money on the same career in a typical office. Many people that have IT degrees are finding that they can build an IT consultant business purely from online contacts and maintain a home office. Those who write and edit can take advantage of the vast job opportunities available online for freelance writers, website copy editors and fulltime content writers. If you are wondering how to make money using my home computer, just take a moment and look at yourself. What do you have to offer the worldwide marketplace?

A good way to go about deciding what to do to earn money is to think about what is something that can be enjoyable and at the same time provide some extra cash. "Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all" (1 Timothy 4:15). Services are popular today because so many people work outside their home and do not have extra time to take care of minor tasks. There are also certain aspects of a job that a young adult cannot perform. For example: they cannot sell alcohol, and they cannot operate dangerous machinery; such as a meat slicer at a deli.
